The arrival of February often brings thoughts of roses, chocolates, and romantic dinners. But for many, it is a season of heightened loneliness, with social media only exaggerating one’s lack of romantic love. It is easy to get depressed or frustrated, even when we have a significant other, because of our expectations of love and romance. The good news is this…you have a secret admirer! And He brings the kind of love that never disappoints, never lies, never leaves!
Our whole practice is set up on the belief that God loved us enough to let His Son die for us. I can’t imagine loving anyone or anything enough to let my child die for them, but He loved me and you that much. Humbling to think about, isn’t it? All He wants in return is a relationship with you. Every sunrise and sunset He paints for you. He is there to hear every desire of your heart, to soothe every pain, to be your strength when you are too tired to stand. He will meet you where you are, without scolding or condemnation, but with sweet love and forgiveness, if only you ask.
I wish I had been journaling my whole experience with opening 3:16 Healthcare. God has opened doors and made ways that I could never have imagined. He brought healing to my life in more ways than one, and continues to show me how much He loves me through everyday experiences. I am thankful for my wonderful, patient husband, and I am thankful that God continues to restore us and teaches us how to truly love. The love that is from God and of God is life changing. I speak from experience.
Our motto here is from the book of Deuteronomy–you will be blessed when you go in and blessed when you go out. We want everyone who comes to our practice, on either side, to feel loved, because they are. My sweet grandmother used to always say, “God loves you and so do I.” So, if you are feeling lonely or alone this February, just know that God loves you, and so do we!
God bless, Allison Key, MD

Chemical Peels A chemical peel is a chemical solution that helps improve the texture and tone of your skin by removing the damaged outer layers. Sun damage, fine lines, and acne are a few examples of skin conditions that can leave your skin darkened, wrinkles or scarred. At Spa 3:16, we use PCA Professional peels that are only available through physicians and licensed professionals. PCA skin care products are formulated with all-natural ingredients to nourish, hydrate and rejuvenate the skin. Chemical peels are often associated with excessive skin sloughing, discomfort and long recoveries. PCA has developed peels that produce maximal results with minimal discomfort and downtime. We use a combination of Alpha- Hydroxy acids, Beta Hydroxy acids, trichloroacetic acid and retinoids in our peel regimen. After each peel, each patient will receive a complementary post procedure kit to ensure maximal results. Our experienced esthetician will customize a regimen that addresses your specific need(s).

Ingredients
8 Servings
- 2 lbs ground beef (96% lean)
- 1 cup soft bread crumbs
- 3/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup 1% low-fat milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 tablespoon plus 1-1/2 teaspoons dried Greek seasoning, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup plain, low-fat Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup diced cucumber
Tip: Cooking times are for fresh or thoroughly thawed ground beef. Ground beef should be cooked to an internal temperature of 160°F. Color is not a reliable indicator of ground beef doneness.
Tip: To make soft bread crumbs, place torn bread in food processor or blender container. Cover; pulse on and off, to form fine crumbs. One and one-half slices make about 1 cup crumbs.Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine Ground Beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, egg, 1 tablespoon Greek seasoning and salt in large bowl, mixing lightly but thoroughly.
- Shape beef mixture into 10 x 4-inch loaf on rack in broiler pan. Bake in 350ºF oven 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 hours, until instant-read thermometer inserted into center registers 160°F.
- Meanwhile, combine yogurt, cucumber and remaining 1-1/2 teaspoons Greek seasoning in medium bowl. Season with salt, as desired. Set aside.
- Let meatloaf stand 10 minutes; cut into 8 slices. Serve with cucumber-yogurt sauce.
